There’s a difference between training and learning.

The story of of Icarus is a life lesson.

Icarus applied the lessons learnt from his father, Daedalus in a practical way.  He was fully committed to the endeavour, only hubris stopped his dream, but the dream of flight lived on.

The mission.

‘Icarus Learning’ turns lessons into actions, which builds on a student’s dream of success, but is always watchful of stepping outside what is realistic too. Not a teaching organisation, but a facilitator of practical applications.

In the welding space there is a combination of two active outcomes, information and application.

Outcomes can be seen as hard skills and soft skills.

  • Hard skills: covers the ability to operate machinery.
  • Soft skills: covers the ability to troubleshoot.

Learn by doing, rewarded by actions.

Lessons aimed at persons 16 years or older.
